Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Government of Goa, on July 17, 2026, issued a notification regarding the extension of the time limit for filing GST Appeals before the Appellate Tribunal.

The following has been stated: -

•The Government of Goa has notified July 31, 2026, as the last date for filing appeals or applications before the GST Appellate Tribunal in specified pending cases, superseding the earlier notification.

•Appeals against orders communicated before May 01, 2026, may be filed up to July 31, 2026.

•For orders communicated on or after May 01, 2026, appeals must be filed within three months from the date of communication.

•Applications relating to orders passed before February 01, 2026, may be filed up to July 31, 2026, while those passed on or after that date must be filed within six months from the date of the order.
